For any recently engaged couple - write us about your Engagement Story -

Due to the overwhelming popularity (and great stories) we have been asked to do this again --- so, a new contest will be started soon. Watch for the Date.

How did you get engaged?  In person, by an airplane banner flying overhead, an email from far away, or some other interesting form?

WHEN did you become "formally" engaged?     Which local area paper did you publish your engagement in so your friends/family know of your forthcoming nuptials?

Where did he "pop the question" ?  In a plane, on a beach, at dinner, a surprise dinner party, at the movies, at an outdoor play?

What were the surroundings? 

Any Special Effects?  Dinner, chocolate mousse, ring at bottom of wine glass...etc?

Send us your story and photos on or before May 15, 2010.  Drawing will be held May 25, 2010. The winner will be posted on the website and notified by email and regular mail.  (Engagements must be confirmed via local newspapers or a copy of an Announcement sent out.)

BREAKING NEWS:  A Marathon runner, who resides in Canada, recently ran in the NYC Marathon and reached the finish line to find her boyfriend on his knee at the Finish Line with a placard (what a way to finish the Race). 

Then another NYC Central Park item - at the "Imagine" site we have a couple from Atlanta who are now engaged - another total surprise (to her)!

We all hold Firefighters (and policemen, the military, etc) out to be heros in our minds and daily lives...and they are - so it  is really nice to have gotten the one in May - from the Firefighter himself! (Take a look at his video).

These guys are great finds as they planned their attack, so to speak,well in advance in calling employers and arranging time off for their fiancees, getting around the legal loopholes for the marathon, hoping for good weather in Central Park and so much more--at the fire station.  Send us more!
